The construction of the Lafarge technical lab at the largest cement plant in Ain Al Sokhna to serve Lafarge’s cement manufacturing facilities across Africa and the Middle East. The building industrial and minimalist design showcases a minimalist and modern aesthetic approach with its raw fair-faced concrete envelope, featuring engraved vertical shutter work on the façade, which creates a textured relief that adds visual depth and interest to the building’s exterior. Inside the lab, the layout is designed to accommodate ample space for technical equipment, testing stations, and laboratories, while maintaining efficient circulation and access to critical support areas such as storage, offices, and meeting rooms.
