Pyramids Plateau Development – Stations Design
Egypt
The Giza Pyramids Plateau development project aims to revolutionize the visitor experience and improve the management and operation of Egypt’s heritage destinations. The project envisions transforming the pyramids plateau into an open museum integrated with the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Visitors will embark on a historical journey, passing through various stations designed as exhibition halls that narrate the story of ancient Egypt and introduce the surroundings. The stations are located at Khufu, Khafra, Menkaure, Panorama, and Sphinx. This approach aims to enhance the visitors’ experience by welcoming them to an interesting site seeing using the idea of converting the pyramids plateau into an open museum. The route passing by the stations is intended to be a historical journey reaching the destination.
